Something new is coming to BGWC Collective Co., and this collection carries a meaning that goes much deeper than the designs themselves. On October 1, 2026, the Team Rooted Collection will officially be released, featuring three jerseys, a letterman jacket, and a T-shirt. This collection was created to represent identity, faith, purpose, and the foundation behind everything BGWC stands for.
The number 3 holds special meaning within this collection because of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Trinity represents the three persons of the one God, and that foundation of faith is reflected throughout the collection. The number three became a meaningful part of the collection because BGWC is ultimately centered around God and our relationship with Him.
Why Team Rooted?
The word Rooted is not simply a name chosen for the collection. It comes directly from the heart of the BGWC mission, Rooted in Christ, Styled with Purpose. It is also inspired by Colossians 2:6– 7, which reminds us to walk in Christ, be rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith.
One of the jerseys features ROOTED across the back because that word represents the foundation of BGWC. Before anything else, before the clothing, the creativity, the business, or the community, there is Christ. Being rooted means having a foundation that does not change simply because life does.
I chose Rooted because I want this collection to serve as a reminder that we are called to remain planted in Christ. We can grow, change, move forward, and step into new seasons while still remaining grounded in the One who is our foundation.
Chosen
Another meaningful word represented within the collection is CHOSEN.
Being chosen represents the identity we have through Christ. Scripture reminds us that those who belong to Christ are chosen and set apart for Him. 1 Peter 2:9 speaks about God’s people as a chosen people, called to proclaim His praises.
The word Chosen represents the reminder that our identity does not come from the opinions of other people or from where we currently are in life. Our identity begins with who we are in Christ.
Rooted and Chosen work together because they represent two important parts of the message behind BGWC. We are called to be rooted in Christ, and we are reminded that we belong to Him.
Inspired by California
The visual inspiration for the Team Rooted Collection also comes from where the BGWC story originates. With California as part of the inspiration behind the collection, I wanted to incorporate colors that immediately connect to that influence.
The collection brings together Dodger blue-inspired tones and Raiders-inspired colors, creating a combination that feels connected to California while still fitting the bold, sporty identity of BGWC.
The result is a collection that brings together faith, sports inspired style, California influence, and the BGWC message in one cohesive design.
More Than a Collection
The Team Rooted Collection is ultimately about more than what we wear.
It is about remembering who we are, remembering who we belong to, and remembering what we are standing on. Every jersey, letterman jacket, and T-shirt carries a piece of the vision behind BGWC.
