On Sunday, September 20, 2026, BGWC Collective Co. had the opportunity to be part of Truth Valley Church’s Homecoming Service, and it was truly a meaningful experience for everyone involved. This year’s Homecoming carried a beautiful message: Returning home to Jesus. It was a welcoming space for current members, new members, and returning members to come together, reconnect, worship, and be reminded that there is always a place to return to in Christ.
BGWC Collective Co. Photobooth was present for the celebration, helping capture special moments throughout the day and being part of an atmosphere centered around fellowship, worship, and community. Being able to participate in an event with such a meaningful message was a special opportunity for BGWC Collective Co. and a beautiful reminder of how faith, creativity, and community can come together.

The Word: Returning Home and Seeing Again
The Word for the Homecoming service came from Pastor Marcus McGhee, who shared a message centered around restoration, returning, and seeing what God is doing in our lives. One of the biblical stories connected to the message was the account of Bartimaeus, the blind man who cried out to Jesus for mercy and asked to see again. His story is found in Mark 10:46 to 52. Despite being told to be quiet, Bartimaeus continued calling out to Jesus. When Jesus asked what he wanted, Bartimaeus made his request known: he wanted to see. Jesus responded to his faith, and Bartimaeus received his sight.

His story is a powerful picture of what it means to recognize our need for Jesus and continue reaching toward Him. Sometimes returning home means asking God to help us see again, see our purpose again, see His goodness again, or see the path He has placed before us with renewed faith.
The message also brought us to the familiar story of the prodigal son, found in Luke 15:11 to 32. Jesus tells the story of a son who leaves his father’s home, eventually comes to recognize where he belongs, and makes the decision to return. Instead of being rejected, he is welcomed home by his father with compassion and celebration.
That picture of the father welcoming his son home beautifully reflected the heart of Truth Valley Church’s Homecoming. Returning home to Jesus means knowing that the door is still open. Whether someone has been walking with Christ for years, is beginning their relationship with Him, or is returning after being away, there is an invitation to come home.

A Homecoming With Purpose
The beauty of this Homecoming was not simply in gathering together. It was in the reminder that the church can be a place where people are welcomed, encouraged, and reminded of the love of God. Current members, new members, and returning members were all able to share in the same space and experience the joy of coming home.
For BGWC Collective Co., being present through BGWC Collective Co. Photobooth made this experience even more special. We were grateful to be part of a day that centered on Jesus, community, restoration, and new beginnings.
Homecoming reminded us that sometimes coming home is about more than returning to a physical place. Sometimes it is about returning to the One who has been calling us back all along.
It was a wonderful experience for all, and we are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful day with Truth Valley Church and its community.
